I am very honored to be one of only five finalists in the Best Female Voice category of the 2008 Voicey Awards. The Best Female Voice Award honors female voice actors who have been working full-time in voice over as a professional for three or more years. What an honor to have been nominataed by my peers in the VO community for this recognition. 



TV Land

Be listening for me on TV LAND!  I just completed work on a promo for the national cable channel's first Original show - "What's in the Box?" Will it be a fun game show?  Is it based on 20 Questions?  Is Moe Egan's voice really gonna to be on TV Land?  Yes, Yes, Yes!


Proud Skidmore Alum!  I was recently featured in the Skidmore Scope ,  The Skidmore College Alumni magazine featured me in its Fall 2007 edition. I've heard from quiet a few fellow Skiddies thanks to the article, even got a gig from fellow alum Jeff Dinardo! Skidmore is where I discovered how cool it was to talk into a microphone in the first place - at WSPN, the Skidmore College radio station!

Moe is a Whiz Kid! At least my voice is.  I just finished a web marketing narration for VTech's Whiz Kid Learning System.  After so many years of watching my own kids play and learn with VTech, it's really cool to be able to do voice work for them.


I'm BIG in Amman!   If you ever stay at the Crown Plaza or Marriot in
 Amman, Jordan - be sure to listen to messages on hold at BOTH hotels. The voice may sound familiar. Yup - they're both me! 

 Internet gives voice to unseen actors. Reporter Steve Mollman recently did an article for CNN.Com World Business on how the Internet has changed the way Voice Overs can work world wide.  Moe Egan was featured in the article as a VO who is able to work world wide via the Net.

In a world of voice overs.... DON LAFONTAINE is king. Moe had a chance to meet and chat with DLF at Voice 2007 a first of its kind Voice Over conference.  Voice actors came from  all over the globe to be at this week-long event with workshops from some of the leaders in the industry.

Gitty-up!

Have you seen the I-Gallop at Brookstone?  It's a new cool machine that helps you get in shape by mimicking the sensation of riding a horse in your living room while doing excersices.  If you haven't seen it, check it out and make sure you listen carefully to the point of sale demo video. Yup, pardn'er that there's me doin' the narration.
