I chose Moe Egan to narrate my memoir in part because of her ability to read the voices of various characters, mostly both men and women in my family, and myself as narrator. She brings just the right tone to each person and with an amazing vocal elasticity that makes each character’s voice unique. Moe won a well-deserved “Earphones Award” for her performance of Redlined: A Memoir of Race, Change, and Fractured Community in 1960s Chicago.
Besides her prodigious talent, Moe was wonderful to work with. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more professional and talented narrator.
